Cold Rolled Steel Flat Sheet is a thin, flat piece of cold rolled steel with many applications. It is measured by its thickness (gauge). It has a smoother finish and a tendency to be not as hard as hot rolled steel sheet. Often used in general fabrication where finish is important. Both hot and cold rolled sheets are ferrous products that will rust without taking preventative measures such as painting.
